I am a 1987 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College.  Over the years, I noticed that while chiropractic treatment has always been helpful, my patient adjustments were not holding or lasting as long as previously.  I began to suspect that the answer lay in nutrition.  When I took a basic course in Nutrition Response Testing, it became clear I was right.  They explained that if there is nutritional deficiency, it will lead to organ dysfunction.  When an organ is in dysfunction, the nerves that lead to the spine from the organ will cause subluxations to occur repeatedly.  By correcting the organ dysfunction, the subluxations occurred much less.  The back issues resolved and held the correction much longer.

I myself experienced heart trouble, which was baffling because my diet was very good.  My wife is a nutritionist and she fed me the proper foods.  Nutrition Response Testing provided the answer that made all the difference with my heart.  What you must understand with the body is that ANYTHING CAN CAUSE ANYTHING.  It was detected that chemicals I had been exposed to in the past, as well as a scar, were creating stress on my heart.  Further, it was found that my nervous system was not open for healing, which means no matter what solutions I tried to repair the heart, I wouldn't have healed because there was a barrier to healing.  Dr. Freddie Ulan, who founded Nutrition Response Testing, put me on a program designed specifically for me.  That program opened my body up for healing, which enabled my heart to heal.  I got AMAZING results.  As a result, I have dedicated my life to the mastery of Nutrition Response Testing and have seen fantastic results in many patients.

In 1992, I started out in the health field as a massage therapist.  I earned my BS degree in Nutrition in 2002, and received my doctorate degree in Naturopathy in 2010. 

In 2007, I had developed an unusual disease called gastroparesis.  I went through one year and a combination of twelve doctors and alternative practitioners before my disease was even diagnosed.  By that time, I was in pretty bad shape.  A gastroenterologist said that it was not really known what exactly causes gastroparesis, but that it had to do with damage to the vagus nerve, which is part of the autonomic nervous system.  He put me on a drug, which helped just enough to prevent the worst symptoms, but I still had poor digestion, bloating, constipation, frequent headaches, and pain in the upper abdomen.  I was told I would probably have to take the drug for the rest of my life.  I tried some alternative treatments, but had limited results. 

About a year later, my husband, Dr. Gene Teel, came across some information about Nutrition Response Testing.  He was anxious to find something that would solve my ailment, so he convinced me to go with him to an introductory seminar in Nutrition Response Testing.  After so many years of studying nutrition, I was not very excited about another nutrition course.  I thought it would be about the same old thing.  Boy, was I wrong!!  What I saw completely changed my mind and gave me hope that I could get better.  After going through the Nutrition Response Testing procedure, it showed that I had weakness in the hiatal area (the reason for the pain in my upper abdomen), poorly functioning adrenals and thyroid, parasites, mercury and several scars contributing to my condition.  It also showed that my nervous system was blocked from proper function.  This was why I could never get completely well.   I was put on a nutritional program.  Six weeks later, I noticed that I almost never had a headache anymore and the pain in my upper abdomen, from the hiatal, had greatly decreased.  After six months into my program, I  was able to discontinue the drug I was taking. 

I am now so excited about my success, that my mission is to help out everyone I can -to stop their pain and needless suffering with Nutrition Response Testing.
